Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure consistency between financial records and bank statements.
- Reports: Generate financial reports and statements to provide insights into the financial health of the company.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Communication: Collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders to address financial queries and provide necessary information.
- Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software and spreadsheet applications. Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar platforms is an advantage.
- Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights.
- Time Management: Efficient time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
